Degree Audit - Evaluation of Audit Report

Degree Audits

The Online Degree Audit is the Key that will open the door for best understanding of the student’s remaining requirements in terms of credit hours and courses. It is an analysis of the academic progress for an area of study that summarizes the Catalogue Degree Requirements’ for graduation based on the requirements of a specific year.

It indicates the required hours towards completing an area of study. 

It is a valuable tool for advisement for both the student and the academic advisor. 

The Degree Audit is an Analysis of Academic Progress and Not an Official Record since it is liable to change during the registration /drop/add period, and while processing change of grades and/or withdrawals from a course or semester.

The Degree Audit includes transferred courses from another institution. No quality points or GPA credits are given for transfer courses.

Degree Audit is Divided into Sections

Section I - Student Data

Section II - Academic Requirements Remaining

This section indicates a list of course requirements that are remaining for the student to complete. This section does not include the courses that the student is presently registered for. This section also includes a statement on Requirement Waivers & Adjustments; this section is strictly for Office use. It is not in any way an indication to the student’s remaining requirements.

Section III - Academic Requirements Completed or in Progress

This section assumes successful completion of course work and those currently in progress, i.e. courses that you are currently registered for.

Section IV - Work Not Applicable to this Program

This section includes any course work that does not meet the requirements of the area of study that you are pursuing.
