| Overload Requests Guidelines |
| |
| Juniors and/or Senior students are to submit their overload request forms to the Office of the University Registrar two weeks before early advising/registration period. Forms are available on the Registrar’s web page under ‘forms’. |
|
| Please note the following: |
|
-
Only Junior and Senior students are allowed to request an overload. -
Students have to be in good academic standing and should have a valid reason for the overload. -
The Office of the University Registrar will not accept overload forms submitted by Freshmen and/or Sophomore students. -
Overload decisions (Approved or Rejected) are posted after Four Working Days from the date of the submission of the request in the first section of the Degree Audit under “Comments” in Web for Students. -
Department Chairs need to make sure that the recommendation of the Associate Registrar is included in the overload form prior to their approval or disapproval as it is an indicator to the student’s academic and graduation status. -
If the departments need to meet students to discuss their overload requests, they should contact them by phone, email or call them from classes at the time they receive the forms so that the Office of the University Registrar can process and meet the assigned deadline to avoid delays. |
|
| If you did not use your approval overload request during the last semester, your request for overload in future semesters will not be considered. | |
