Fall Refund Policy

      

       New Undergraduate Students

         Students in their first semester of attendance at AUC are not entitled to any refund in the case  
         of withdrawal from the University.
  
          Continuing Students:

A full refund for continuing students is made only for courses dropped before the end of the late registration period.  Students who drop a course after the deadline for late registration are not entitled to any refund for the course(s) dropped.  However, students who withdraw from the university after the deadline will receive a partial refund, the amount depending on the number of weeks which have elapsed since the beginning of classes. Refunds are made according to the following schedule:


Continuing Undergraduate, Graduate & Non Degree Students

REFUND DUE TO DROPPING INDIVIDUAL COURSES

Undergraduate Students are entitled to a full refund of tuition for individual courses that are dropped during the first week of classes during Fall or Spring Semester. They are not entitled to a refund for courses that are dropped following the first week of classes.

Graduate Students are entitled to a full refund of tuition for individual courses that are dropped during the first two week of classes during Fall or Spring Semester. They are not entitled to a refund for courses that are dropped following the first two weeks of classes.

Summer Refund Policy

DROPPING A COURSE

If a course is dropped on the first two days of classes, 10-11 June, a full refund is granted.  No refunds are given for a course dropped after the second day of classes.

The refund schedule refers to tuition for credit courses, audited courses, and  instruction in the ALI and English Language Institute. The student services and activities fee, the application fee, laboratory and studio course fees, and special charges are not refundable.

Important Notice

  • Refund requests are only for amounts more than the equivalent of one credit hour other than this the amount will remain in the student's account to be deducted from next semester's fees.

  • Amounts more than LE 5,000 or its Dollars equivalent will be given out to the students' parents ONLY.

Refund Procedures

  1. Check your account summary for credit balance.

  2. Fill the refund request form in the link below.

  3. Submit the form to the Student Accounting Services Office room 155 Main Campus with your payment receipt from 9am to 2pm.

  4. The check will be ready in 5 working days from the submission date.

Needed documents to cash your cheque

  •  Student: Egyptian National ID or a valid Passport.

  •  Student’s Father: Egyptian National ID or a valid Passport.

  •  Student’s Mother: Egyptian National ID or a valid Passport and a copy from the student’s Birth Certificate.
